I found it in some highbrow Reddit thread (buried similar to 7 interpretation deep under an ad for crypto). Its not upon the App Store, but their site walks you through a workaround. Sketchy? A little. But it works.
Pros:

No watermarks.

Saves in HD. Legit 1080p+.

Audio stays in sync (youd be surprised how rare that is).

Cons:

Annoying setup.

Sometimes fails silently, like it acts gone it saved but nada.

Interface looks taking into account Windows XP met a MySpace theme.

Still... its my go-to. I even have a shortcut widget.

Why doesnt Instagram just allow us reach this? I mean, TikTok lets you save in the same way as audio (sorta), but IG acts in the manner of Reels are nuclear establishment codes. Wild.

Real Talk: Should You Even Be affect This?
Ugh. Im torn. on one hand, I get it. We want to keep that reel. be active it to friends. Watch offline. maybe meme it later.
But creators deserve credit. for that reason here's my rule: I solitary download Reels if Im using them personally. Never reposting. Never monetizing. Just hoarding, tbh.
