It is better than the less expensive RoboVac 11S in most ways, including being more easy to maintain and incurring lower recurring expenses. It's also superior at cleaning floors with no carpet and picking up pet fur, but isn't as effective on carpets with a low or carpets with higher pile.

It's not as well-built but it's still an excellent option. The ION XL is a powerful machine that has a large capacity bin. It is controlled by an app or voice command, and is simple to maintain. It's also a good price.
