Cracked or Broken Panes

Rotten Wood

This can be done by looking for leaks in the roof or gutters that are not functioning cracking caulking, and any other areas that allow water to enter the wood.

You'll then have to take out the rotten components of the window frame. This can be done using the use of a chisel, rasp or claw hammer. After the areas that are rotten have been removed it is time to replace them with new wood. Pre-treated wood is recommended for this project since it is resistant to decay. It won't open
