Bean to Cup Coffee Machines

The beans you place in your coffee machine are not just seeds. They're a world of flavor. Bean-to-cup machines let you control the quality of the coffee you make with the touch of a button.

Reservoir

Hot-Water Tube

The machine may appear to be performing it is doing a simple task however, it's actually working very hard. It takes the water you put into the machine and runs it through a tube that is connected to the hole at the bottom of the reservoir on one side and then through the heating element of aluminum on the other.

When you turn on the machine, the resistive heating element begins to heat up, which causes the water inside the aluminum tube to come to a boil. The turbulence caused by the boiling water produces bubbles that rise through the hole at the bottom of the reservoir and up the exit hose. The bubbles carry hot water up the tube until it reaches the coffee pot.

If you're noticing that your coffee maker is making strange sounds, it could mean that something is wrong with the one-way valve. It is either in the hole at the bottom of the reservoir, or in the aluminum heating tube. This valve stops the boiling water from returning to the reservoir and instead rising up the tube.

As the hot water drips down the sides, it is carrying the flavor of the ground coffee beans. The water absorbs the coffee beans in the ground and releases the oils that give the cup of joe its delicious flavor.

Grinder
