Natura &Co completed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc. in January which made it the fourth-largest pure-play beauty firm in the world. 76% of the company will be owned by its shareholders. This deal is subject to regulatory approvals.

Joao Paulo Goncalves Ferreira, the CEO of Natura &Co is responsible for expanding the company's presence in the world. He was previously Vice President-Supply Chain for Unilever Brazil and Latin America. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan.

He has guided Natura through the transformation of a traditional direct selling company to modern, digital one. The company's digitalization led productivity growth and 17 consecutive quarters of growth.

In January, Natura &Co plans to begin trading shares using ADRs on the New York Stock Exchange. This will allow the company to benefit from synergies between its brands, as well as extend its product portfolio and reach 200 million consumers worldwide.

The company has also appointed a new executive team to steer the next phase of growth. Roberto Marques will be the Group Chief Executive Officer and Angela Cretu will lead the company's global business. Besides overseeing the global stewardship of the Natura brand, she will be responsible for the company's operations and innovation outside of Latin America.

Joao Paulo worked for a total of twenty years at Unilever before joining Natura. He held various positions, including Vice-President Supply Chain. His last position with the company was Vice President of Operations and Logistics.

Ferreira is also a member of the Executive team of the C-Suite Department at the company. He is not a spend first, ask questions later kind of person.

Angela Cretu

Angela Cretu, an Avon veteran and a member of its top leadership team, will assume the role as Avon's CEO. Cretu has more than 20 years of experience in leading a top beauty brand and is well placed to lead the company's global operations.

The Avon CEO has been an advocate for the women around the world and has taken on the idea of gender equality. She has been involved in numerous campaigns to encourage positive gender equality for women in the developing countries. Most prominent are those that combat violence against women and encourage women's economic empowerment.

In addition to her leadership role at Avon, Cretu has also held leadership roles at other companies. She has been the Vice President for South-East Europe, Group Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe, and General Manager of several regions.

She has been awarded the title of CEO of the Year and the Management Today Champions of Change award for her contributions to the company’s mission over the past year. She was also recognized as a leader for change in the category of Women's Empowerment by INNOCOS.

Avon's CEO is adamant about empowering women with beauty. The company has given US$1.1 million to breast cancer research so far. Not just does Avon contribute money, but it allows employees to express their opinions without fearing retribution.

The new Chief Executive Officer of the company, Avon, will continue to oversee the company's mission of empowering women and accelerating growth. She will oversee the operations of Avon outside of Latin America, while taking on the reins from Roberto Marques, who has been appointed as the Group CEO of Natura &Co.

Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is a senior executive leader at avon Leader. Acosta was appointed Senior Vice President and Latin America President in 2011. He was recently named Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. Charles Herington, the Company’s Executive Chairman, will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Before joining Avon prior to joining Avon, he worked for several years working at Unilever. He has a wealth of experience developing consumer-oriented businesses and establishing businesses in emerging markets. He is also an investor and a member of the board at RoC Skincare New York.

As the Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer He is in charge of the development of the brand experience at Avon. He has also overseen the development and implementation of a brand new social selling approach that is digital.

Fernando Acosta began his career at Unilever as an employee trainee. He has worked in the United Kingdom and Europe. Later, he held high-ranking positions in Unilever's Latin American operations.

From 1999 until 2004, he served as the Category President for Latin America at Unilever. His role included overseeing the most well-known brands of the company like Dove. He was also involved in the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty which introduced innovative products such as Pro Age.

After serving as a senior vice president for Unilever's Middle Americas business, he took on a more international job. From 2006 to 2008 he was the Brand President of Dove Global at Unilever. He was based in New York during this period.

He was previously the Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His duties included directing sales and establishing the brand's Latin American strategy. He also helped in the development of new product lines, such as Pro Age.

Louise Srivastava

Avon has a long and storied history and an extensive selection of products. However, one segment of the company that stands out in recent times is its Health and Wellness division. This subset of the direct selling world has racked up 33.5 percent of the total sales in the last twelve months and that's due in no small part to the likes of CEO Scott White. This is a major accomplishment on a huge scale. It's not a surprise that the venn diagram of the company’s four operating segments is a hotbed of innovation and offers a fantastic opportunity to appoint some of the most imaginative and ambitious members of the executive club.

James Scully

Avon has gone through a series of major changes in its leadership team. Kimberly Ross, avon leadership team's chief financial officer was resigned to become Baker Hughes Inc.'s CFO in October. The company is also searching for a permanent CFO.

Avon Products has announced that James Scully will become its new executive vice presidentand chief financial officer. He will directly report to Chief Executive Officer Sheri McCoy and will lead all finance and information technology functions.

Avon has moved its headquarters to London and has made several moves to restructure its business. Avon's new leadership has taken steps to increase efficiency and reduce the leverage of the balance sheet. It has also increased its cost savings initiatives.

Additionally, Avon has entered into an agreement to form a strategic partnership with Cerberus Capital Management, L.P., and avon Leader will invest $435 million into the business over the next two years. ICR will provide capital market advisory services to the Company as part of the agreement.

James Scully will be responsible for the global supply chain of the company along with all finance and IT functions. Scully will also be accountable for the company's transformation strategy. This is an essential part of Avon's growth strategy.

In addition to his leadership role at Avon, Jim Scully serves on the board of J.Jill. His new role at Avon is expected to assist the company execute its strategic plan. He brings strong operational experience to the Avon.

Furthermore, Miguel Fernandez, previously the executive vice president of Herbalife, will be named the Global President of Avon. He has extensive knowledge of e-commerce managing customers and execution of growth strategies.

In the meantime the Neiman Marcus Group is looking for a permanent chief financial officer. Two interim executives were hired.
