The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up, you can start cleaning automatically with just one button. You can choose a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your entire home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot vacuum cleaner with mop and schedule cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundaries, so it is aware of areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that can better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of simply following a predetermined route.

The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice but they also make the L10s more of a luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the house. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum.
