Active Noise Cancellation

Bose QuietComfort headphones are known for their outstanding noise cancellation. However Bose also produces a wide range of high-quality headphones that don't require or have this feature. They are usually high priced and made from premium materials. They're also lightweight and sweat-proof, and comfortable enough to listen for long periods of time.

The flagship 700s are an excellent example of this. They come with an upgraded eight-microphone (six for cancelling sounds, and two to pick a voice) and eleven custom ANC modes. You can hear the world around you, or block it completely. They also have a "Conversation Mode" button that allows you to temporarily pause your music in order to make a call or make a brief announcement.

Bose TruSleeve is another excellent feature. It's a removable ear cover that wraps around your neck and sits over your upper ear to cut down on noise when you are out and about. It is available for all QuietComfort products and can be customised using the app to fit your lifestyle and ears.

Compared with our top choice, the Sony WH-1000XM5, 700s offer a better audio quality for phone calls. This makes them an excellent choice for people who frequently make calls and need to be heard clearly while traveling.

Controls
