In January, Natura &Co closed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc., making it the fourth-largest pure-play beauty company in the world. 76% of the combined company will be owned by its shareholders. This transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

Joao Paulo Goncalves Ferreira, the chief of Natura &Co is responsible for expanding the company's presence in the world. He was previously Vice President-Supply Chain for Unilever Brazil and Latin America. He holds a MBA from the University of Michigan.

He has led Natura through the transition from a traditional direct selling firm to modern, digital ones. The company's digitalization has led to increased productivity and the implementation of 17 consecutive quarters of growth.

In January, Natura &Co plans to start trading its shares through ADRs on the New York Stock Exchange. This will allow the group leverage its brand synergies, increase its product line and reach over 200 million customers around the globe.

To drive the next stage of growth, the company has also appointed an entirely new leadership team. Roberto Marques will serve as the Group Chief Executive Officer, and Avon leadership team Angela Cretu, will manage the company's global operations. In addition to overseeing the global management of the Natura brand, she will be responsible for the company's innovation and operations outside of Latin America.

Prior to joining Natura, Joao Paulo spent twenty years at Unilever in which he held a variety of positions, including Vice President of Supply Chain. His final position was Vice-President of Operations and Logistics in the company.

Ferreira is part of the Executive Team of the C-Suite Department. He is not a person who asks questions afterward, but spends first.

Angela Cretu

Angela Cretu, an Avon veteran and a member of its top leadership team, will assume the role as Avon's CEO. With more than 20 years' experience as the head of a leading cosmetics brand, Cretu is poised to lead the company's global operations as well as innovating.

Avon CEO, Susanne Johnson, is a long-time advocate for women all over the world and has embraced the concept of gender equality. Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is a senior executive leader at Avon. He joined Avon in 2011 as Senior Vice President and President Latin America and was recently named Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. Charles Herington, the Company’s Executive Chairman, will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Before joining Avon prior to joining Avon, he worked for several years working at Unilever. He has extensive experience in the development of consumer-focused companies in emerging markets. In addition, to his role at Avon, he is an investor and board member of RoC Skincare in New York.

As the Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer In his role as Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer, he oversees the development of the brand experience at Avon. He also oversees the creation and implementation of the new social selling strategy that is digital.

Fernando Acosta began his career at Unilever as a management trainee. He has worked in Europe and the United Kingdom. Later, he was in high-level positions within Unilever's Latin American operations.

He was the Category President for Latin America at Unilever from 1999 until 2004. He was responsible for overseeing Dove one of the most popular brands in the company. Additionally the director was also involved in the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, a global initiative that launched innovative products like Pro Age.

After his time as a senior vice president for Unilever's Middle Americas business, he assumed a more global job. He served as Brand President of Dove Global at Unilever from 2006 to 2008. He was based in New York during this period.

He was previously the Regional President for avon leadership team Latin America at Avon. His responsibilities included driving sales and establishing the brand's Latin American strategy. He also supported the development of innovative product lines such as Pro Age.

Avon has opened a new headquarters in London and has made several changes to revamp the company. Under the new management of the company it has taken actions to reduce leverage on balance sheets and increase profitability. It has also stepped up cost savings initiatives.

Avon also entered into an agreement for a strategic partnership with Cerberus Capital Management L.P. and will invest $435 million in the company over a period of two years. ICR will provide capital market advisory services to the Company as part of the agreement.

James Scully will oversee the global supply chains of the company and will also oversee the entire IT and finance functions. He will also be responsible for the Avon's transformation plan. This is a crucial part of Avon's growth strategy.

In addition to his leadership role at Avon, Jim Scully serves on the board of J.Jill. His new role at Avon is expected to assist the company to implement its strategic plan. He also brings a solid operational background to the Avon.

Furthermore, Miguel Fernandez, previously an executive vice-president at Herbalife, will be named the Global President of Avon. He has extensive experience in e-commerce as well as customer management and the execution of growth strategies.

In the meantime the Neiman Marcus Group is looking for a permanent chief financial officer. Two interim executives have been appointed.
