They do have the added benefit of supporting aptX audio which offers greater maximum bitrates than AAC and SBC used by the Sonys.

The Sennheisers earcups can be swiveled to lay flat, but they don't fold like other models. The blue tooth headphones are compact enough to fit inside their carry case which makes them ideal for commutes and travel.

3. Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2

The latest generation of Bowers & Wilkins' flagship wireless headphones are among the top over-ear noise cancelling headsets you can buy. They compete with Sony's WH1000XM5 or Bose QuietComfort 65. They have top-quality build quality, outstanding sound quality and comfort. They don't come with extravagant features or control using touch gestures like a lot of high-end Bluetooth headphones. Instead, they are designed to deliver a sound experience that is awe-inspiring and enjoyable.

The Px7 S2's ANC is very effective in making ambient noise less noticeable, with an excellent level of isolation from low-frequency rumbles like plane and bus engines, mid-range sounds such as office chatter, and the high-pitched whirl of laptop fans. The ANC of the Px7 S2 is less effectively from higher-frequency sounds, such as conversations and traffic however it does a better job of absorbing high-frequency sounds. Bowers & Wilkins' app lets you modify your ANC to your hearing.

They feature a premium design, with an elegant headband and ear cups with leatherette memory foam padding. The headphones weigh slightly more than other top over-ear noise-canceling headphones however their robust construction and thoughtful design make them worth the cost. They are comfortable to wear while you listen to music for long time periods and are suitable for use at home at work, in the office or even on long flights.

Bowers & Wilkins Px7S2's dynamic drivers with 40mm provide powerful bass, clear treble and clear imaging. They produce a dynamic and a full sound with a distinct air between sound elements.
