Natura &Co completed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc. in January which made it the fourth-largest pure-play beauty brand in the world. 76% of the company will be owned by its shareholders. This transaction is subject regulatory approvals.

As the head of Natura &Co, Joao Paulo Brotto Goncalves Ferreira is charged with expanding the company's global presence. He was previously Vice President of Supply Chain at Unilever Brazil and Avon Leadership Team Latin America. He earned an MBA from the University of Michigan.

He has led Natura's transformation from a traditional direct selling company to a more modern, digital company. The digitalization of the company resulted in increased productivity and the implementation of 17 consecutive quarters of growth.

In January, Natura &Co plans to begin trading shares using ADRs on the New York Stock Exchange. This will let the company leverage its brand synergies, broaden its product line and reach more than 200 million consumers across the world.

The company has also appointed a new executive team to drive the next phase of growth. Roberto Marques will serve as the Group Chief Executive Officer. Angela Cretu, will manage the company's global operations. Besides overseeing the global stewardship of the Natura brand, she will be in charge of the company's innovation and operations outside of Latin America.

Joao Paulo worked for twenty years at Unilever before joining Natura. He held a variety of positions, including Vice President Supply Chain. His last job at the company was Vice President of Operations & Logistics.

Ferreira is also a part of the Executive Team of the C-Suite Department. He is not a spend first, ask questions later kind of person.

Angela Cretu

Angela Cretu, an Avon veteran and its top management team, will take over Avon's CEO. Cretu has more than 20 years of experience in leading a top beauty brand and is well-positioned to oversee the company's global operations.

Avon CEO Susanne Johnson, has been a long-time advocate for women all over the world and has taken up the idea of gender equality. She has been involved in numerous campaigns to encourage positive change for women living in developing countries. Some of the most notable are those that fight violence against women and to promote women's economic empowerment.

In addition to her leadership position at Avon, Cretu has also held leadership roles in a variety of other companies. She was the Vice President for South-East Europe, Group Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe, and General Manager of several regions.

She has been awarded the title of CEO of the Year and the Management Today Champions of Change award for her contributions to the mission of the company over the past year. INNOCOS has also named her a Leader of Change in the Women's Empowerment category.

Avon's CEO is passionate for empowering women through beauty. The company has donated US$1.1 million to breast cancer research so far. Not just does Avon donate money, but it also allows employees to voice their opinions without fear of retribution.

Avon's new Chief Executive Officer will continue to pursue the company's goal of empowering women while accelerating growth profitability. She will oversee Avon's operations outside of Latin America, while taking on the responsibilities of Roberto Marques, who has been appointed Group CEO of Natura &Co.

Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is a senior executive leader at Avon. Acosta joined the company as Senior Vice President and Latin America President in 2011. He was recently appointed Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. Charles Herington, the Company’s Executive Chairman, will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

He worked for many years at Unilever before joining Avon. He has extensive experience in developing consumer-oriented businesses and establishing them in emerging markets. He is also an investor and a member of the board at RoC Skincare New York.

As Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer He is in charge of the development of the customer experience at Avon. In addition, he has overseen the development of a brand new digital social selling approach.

Fernando Acosta started his career as a management trainee at Unilever. He has worked in Europe and the United Kingdom. Later, he held top-level positions within Unilever's Latin American operations.

He was the Category President for Latin America at Unilever from 1999 to 2004. He was responsible for overseeing Dove which is among the most popular brands in the company. He also was involved in the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty that launched new products such as Pro Age.

After serving as a senior vice-president for Unilever's Middle Americas business, he assumed a more global role. He was Brand President for Dove Global at Unilever from 2006 until 2008. He was located in New York during this period.

He was previously the Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His responsibilities included driving sales, establishing the brand's Latin American strategy, and aiding in the development of new products such as Pro Age.

Louise Srivastava

Avon has a long story and an array of products available to look through However, one section that has stood out from the rest in recent years is its Health and Wellness division. This particular segment of the direct selling market managed to snag a whopping 33.5% of total sales in the last twelve months and that's due in no small part to the efforts of CEO Scott White. This is a significant accomplishment on a large scale. Avon also entered into an agreement for a strategic partnership with Cerberus Capital Management L.P. and will invest $435 million in the company over the course of two years. ICR will provide capital market advisory services to the Company as part of the agreement.

James Scully will oversee the global supply chains of the company and will also oversee the entire IT and finance functions. Scully will also be accountable for the company's transformation strategy. This is a crucial component of the company's growth strategy.

Jim Scully is also a director at Avon and an Avon board member J.Jill. His new role at Avon will allow the company to execute its strategic plan. He brings extensive operational expertise to the company.

Furthermore, Miguel Fernandez, previously the executive vice president of Herbalife is now appointed as the Global President of avon sales leader. He has extensive experience in e-commerce, customer management and execution of growth strategies.

Meanwhile the Neiman Marcus Group has been looking for a permanent chief financial officer. Two interim executives have been appointed.
