The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to locate your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is setup it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable price to pay if you want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. If it encounters the wall or a piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the hidden bin and washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong like a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo taking debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can also remove wet spills but I would suggest drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot vacuum cleaner for carpet at mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice, but they also make the L10s more of a premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Created to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. The mops also work well and remove 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
