Then use a center stake to hold the stack in place and start adding perpendicular pieces to the outside of the stack. Tie them together in the middle with string. Repeat this process until you reach the desired height for your wall. Then you can fill in the inside with odd-shaped pieces or those that are too big for the outer rows. It is essential to keep in mind that indoor stacking requires a room with a lot of natural light and good airflow. Overcrowding a stack can lead to moldy and damp wood. The best indoor space for stacking is usually a garage or basement.
