The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to locate your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment built into the charging base. This robot can recognize your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the touch of one button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or go for two detailed maps of your home to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do and can pick up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an improved filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on more expensive models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's a small price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently smacks into it before moving along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something is in need of attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can also vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend cleaning them off using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best cheap robot vacuum known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite big--it's over two feet high and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot itself and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and Best robot vacuum and mop an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop and vacuum combo robot pad. These features are nice however they can make the L10s more of a luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel is a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open the settings menu in which you can tweak how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This produces a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
