Finally, I was happy to find that the iRobot automatically empties its dust bin into the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal when it is docked. This is a significant improvement over competitors that require you to open and empty the bag manually. It's a small detail but it can help you save time and frustration.

3. Ecovacs Deebot T10 Omni

The T10 OMNI is great at cleaning pet hair. After two cleaning cycles, it was able remove the majority of pet hair from my carpets. It even managed to navigate around furniture that was blocking its way.

Although it's not as hands-free as the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the T10 Omni remains an outstanding option for anyone seeking a self empty cordless vacuum-emptying robotic mop and vacuum. The mop has the same power as its vacuums and has an attractive design that is superior to Roomba. The T10's smart features make up for the lack of a remote. You can quickly start or stop a cleansing cycle or schedule it and modify the settings of the device with the app.

4. Shark ION XL

The ION XL, Shark's most advanced self-emptying robot vacuum robotic vacuum is a great choice for those who want to get their home clean without lifting a finger. It also offers exemplary performance. The vacuum comes with a big bin that can hold the equivalent of a month's worth dirt, and the base can be programmed to automatically empty it at the end of each cleaning session to store it for a longer period of time. The ION XL is one of the best robot vacuums on the market, suitable for hard and carpet floors, and it can also sweep and mop your floor. It can be controlled via an app or voice commands and you can create a map of your home and clean every room on demand. The robot does great job getting around furniture and even move through stairs and fully-carpeted rooms effortlessly.

I tested the ION XL using our standard debris test in a family room and kitchen with hardwood flooring and area rug. It did an excellent job cleaning up pet hair and robot vacuums debris from the floors, and took care of some of the most stubborn crumbs that accumulated on carpets. It was also adept at moving and didn't hit my barstools like the iRobot J7+ did in this test. The only issue with the ION XL is that it can't detect cords, shoes or toys that are in its path. You will need to clean your home prior to when you run this robotic vacuum if want it to avoid them.

The ION XL is not as efficient as the iRobot J7+, but it is a good alternative if you don't wish to spend more than $500 on an automated cleaner. It's better than the eufy RoboVac 11S, in many ways. It's easier to maintain and has lower costs for recurring maintenance. It also performs better at vacuuming bare floors and removing pet hair, but it does not perform as well on highor high-pile carpet.

It's not as robust however it's a solid option. The ION XL is a powerful machine with a huge capacity bin. It is controlled via an app or a voice command and is easy to maintain. It is also a reasonable price.
