This robot is perfect for homes with hardwood floors and can be used to clean rugs tiles, tiles, or tiles with mixed surfaces.

Like all Roomba models The Combo j7+ is excellent at absorbing dirt and other debris. Its smart navigation is bolstered by iRobot OS technology and PrecisionVision which allows the robot to recognize common objects in its path--such as pet waste or cords--and stay clear of them completely. It's a highly user-friendly system, and it performed well during my testing. It was not able to get rid of water-based liquids such as juice or wine. The mopping pad is washed and reusable.

The camera in the front of the iRobot Combo is also useful. It can spot dangers such as power cords or pet waste and will be sure to avoid them for thorough cleaning. This feature works better than the cameras on most other robot vacuums, as they frequently get caught up in things like rug tassels. It's worth noting that the iRobot Combo ju7+'s front camera is susceptible to blind spots and may be unable to see certain objects.

It comes with a magnetic strip that can be used to block off areas where the robot isn't able to reach, such as rooms with lots of cables.

Unfortunately, the robot falls short of other features of its type. While the mop does a great job, their maximum running time is 60 minutes which is a bit less than we'd like to see from a premium product. Also, it doesn't automatically empty itself into its charging station, or follow up a mopping session with a quick vacuum.

It's still a great option for those who have large homes, as the cleaning and mapping process are quick and efficient. The app is easy to use, and you can make schedules. You can still use the remote to control it if you do not have an extremely strong WIFI connection.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision is costly but it has a lot of smart functions that make up for the cost. The live monitoring feature for homes is excellent and also looks amazing. It's a great choice for parents with small children or pets, or anyone who wants to keep an eye on their house while they're away. Most people who own a robot mop and vacuum are amazed at the changes their floors make after using them regularly.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra

Roborock's newest robot mop and vacuum that self empty, the S7 Max Ultra ($1299 at Amazon), is a fantastic upgrade over the previously excellent S6 and S7 models. It has a number of great features, including aggressive mopping, a higher suction power (up to 5,100Pa, as opposed to the older models' 2,400Pa), and more. It also has precise lidar navigation that works like radar in 3D which means it can identify things such as chair legs, baseboards and furniture legs to effortlessly move around them. It is also able to create customized cleaning routines you can launch at a single tap, such as a "After Meals" mode that scrubbing and scrubs kitchen floors.

This two-in-one also has a special feature not found on most other robots: VibraRise, which raises the mopping plate once it detects carpeting so it doesn't get area rugs wet, making mopping more efficient. It also comes with a deep-cleaning mode that vacuums and mops carpets in one pass and removes more dust and dirt than mops that spin. The app can be used to schedule weekly cleanings or clean on demand.

While the S7 Max Ultra does a great job at its intended tasks however, it's not without its flaws. The price is the most significant. It's the most expensive robot vacuum and mop set-up I've reviewed. The other issues are less specific to this model and more representative of the robotic vacuum market as a whole: it doesn't handle heavy spills or large, sticky messes well.

The S7 Max Ultra is easy to set up: simply plug it in and then sync it to your phone using Wi-Fi and then begin a clean-up. After that, you can customize the settings within the app, including setting no-go zones, and scheduling cleanings.

Its impressive ability to avoid obstacles is a further plus. It only slid into tight spaces twice, which is much better than the S6 MaxV's three tries, or the X1 Omni's four tries. The app lets you mark an object as a temporary obstruction, and the S7 Max Ultra will ignore it when cleaning in the future.

Narwal Freo

The Narwal Freo is a unique robot that combines mops with vacuums. It's also among the more affordable combination bots we've reviewed in our review. The Freo is an excellent option for anyone looking for a combination cleaner. Its outstanding cleaning capabilities, as well its wide array of options for customization, make it an excellent choice. The lack of advanced obstacle-avoidance technology and a polished mobile app has dampened our enthusiasm for this model.

You can interact with the robot via an LCD touchscreen at its base station, but we prefer to control it from the app on your smartphone.

The app provides a variety of options to alter Freo's behavior. This includes scheduling for busy areas and spot cleanings. There is also the option to turn on the parental lock. You can also decide the length of time it takes for the Freo to air dry its mop pads, and the frequency you wish it to empty its bin. You can even specify the maximum size of the trash bin.
