The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and Brookstone robot vacuum vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and recommend automatic schedules to give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button press. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will get better with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers and to clean up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something needs attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This feature is beneficial if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you could want. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS deebot robot vacuum cleaner X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and Brookstone Robot vacuum can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.

Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, so you can manage it even when not at home. It also has a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It can make precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are nice to have but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than what some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The center of the control panel includes an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
