The Best industrial robot vacuum Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, as other models do, to identify your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the touch of a button. You can select the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an improved filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and establish virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a problem for those who want to own one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create little noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and move on when it encounters one.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong, such as low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also create and merge rooms to modify the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you could need. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, as well as a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does the job well. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It can make precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop and vacuum combo robot pad. Although these features are useful, they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category and could mean it's a little more expensive than what some homeowners require.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The control panel has a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and removing all but stubborn juice staining. The mops also work well and remove 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet, and industrial robot vacuum wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
