The mop it comes with is as powerful as its vacuums, and it comes with an appealing design than the Roomba. Although it lacks the remote control, the T10's smart capabilities make up for this omission. You can easily start or stop a cleaning cycle or schedule it and alter the settings of your device using the app.

4. Shark ION XL

Shark's top-of-the-line self empty robot vacuum and mop-emptying robotic vacuum, the ION XL is an excellent option for those who want hands-free cleaning and the highest level of performance. The vacuum comes with an enormous bin which can hold the equivalent of a month's worth dirt and the base can be programmed to automatically empty it at the end of each cleaning session for storage that lasts longer. The ION XL is one of the top robot vacuums on the market for both hard and carpet floors, and it can also sweep and mop your floors. You can control the robot with an app or voice commands and you can even create a map of your house to clean every room on demand. The robot can also do an excellent job of getting around furniture and even traverse stairs and rooms that are fully carpeted easily.

I tested the ION XL using our standard debris test in a family room and kitchen with hardwood floors and area rugs. It did a great job vacuuming, clearing pet hair and debris off the floors, and even took care of some of the more difficult dust particles on carpets. It also did a great job maneuvering and didn't get in the way of my barstools like the iRobot J7+ did in this test. The only downside is that the ION XL can't detect cords, toys and shoes that may be in its path therefore you'll need prepare your home for cleaning prior to running this robotic vacuum if you want it to avoid these items.

The ION XL is not as smart as the iRobot j7+, but it's an excellent alternative for those who don't want to spend more than $500 on a robot cleaner. It's superior to the less expensive RoboVac 11S in most ways it is also simpler to maintain and requiring lower recurring costs. It also performs better at vacuuming bare floors and picking up pet hair, but it can't perform as well on low- or high-pile carpet.

It's not as sturdy as the Roborock S8, but it is a great option. The ION XL is a powerful machine with a huge capacity bin. It can be controlled by an app or a voice command and is easy to maintain. It also has affordable.
