The Q Revo is a great choice if you are seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated quietest robot vacuum vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features such as a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is setup it can begin automated cleaning with a single button press. You can select the general pure clean robot vacuum option that focuses on the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will improve with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We like the claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. And its mopping system is better - its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The app will only inform you when something is not right, such as the water tank being empty or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This is a great feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's clutter that must be cleared out frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can manage it even when not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a set path.

The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a huge battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price range. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice but they also place the L10s in the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stain. The mops also work well, removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
