It is important to have the right tools on the go when you are in the field. This kit was developed with this in mind, and contains all of the hand tools essential to repair equipment in the field. All of the tools are made from steel with a minimum of plastic to ensure they can withstand use. The kit comes with the pouch made of canvas that is zippered to hold coalcracker tools, a twist awl, reamer, cutting shears and Gimlets (5MM). It also comes with a bottle of coalcracker oil, illustrated directions, a wooden spool, a reamer, and twist an awl.

Repair Patches

If you've a hole or two in your gear, think about adding some adhesive patches to your rep kit. These patches are made of high-performance glue pre-applied on a tough polyurethane backing that allows a tear under pressure to heal. Available in clear or colored options they offer a long-lasting protection against abrasions, moisture, sunlight, saltwater, and temperature extremes.

If your kit does not include any of the above items it is possible to consider adding a waterproof Aquaseal wader sealant. This glue that is water-tight will adhere to plastics, fabrics metals and other materials for permanent repair. This glue is ideal for repairing drysuits and also used in the field.
