The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do to locate your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the touch of the button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. We think this is a nice statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and set up virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay if want one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or robot vacuum mop combo watch television without interruption. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move on if it comes across one.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. This is a great feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's a lot of clutter that needs to be cleared out regularly, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors with the first pass. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you could want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them germ-free and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.

Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to control it even when you're not home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a specific route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice but they also push the L10s into the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that basically is a switch for on and off. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel is a circular menu that lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can modify how the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum mop cleaner robot cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
