1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is the latest model in Ecovacs line of hybrid robot vacuums and mops. This wet-dry model is equipped with Ecovacs' upgraded AIVI 3D 2.0 lidar system that provides improved mapping and obstacle avoidance. The system uses dual laser LiDAR, which is similar to the one used in self-driving vehicles. It can scan a space up to 32 feet across by 360 degrees. This translates to more accurate mapping, faster response time, and higher cleaning accuracy.

It also comes with a rotating mopping mat made of chenille, which makes it easier to scrub hard-to-clean spots than conventional mop. In my tests the X2 Omni took just over a minute to clean its pad before getting to work. I also noticed that it was much more accurate than other models that were able to follow a grid-like route around rooms. It was able navigate corners and edges of my rooms, and also create "Zambani patterns" across the middle of the room. It returned to its OMNI Station on a regular basis to empty the dustbin, and clean the mop with hot water, before starting another task of cleaning.

Like other Ecovacs products the X2 Omni is simple to set up and start using. It takes just minutes to secure the dock into position, plug it in and connect it to your Wi-Fi network at home. Then, you're able to launch the app and start with your first cleaning task. I was able to customize my floor plan within 15 minutes. This included creating restricted areas for mopping and sweeping, reworking the placement of furniture that is mounted on walls, and more. The X2 Omni performed impressively in my tests, achieving excellent scores in the removal of pet hair and debris cleaning and close to perfect results in crevice and edge cleaning.

2. Deebot T10 Omni

The T10 Omni from ECOVACS is an extremely powerful mopping and vacuum machine. It is the most advanced of the T-line from the company and comes with the new OZMO Turbo2.0 mopping system, which makes use of a dual-spinning brush to provide better cleaning than the traditional scrubbing. It also has YIKO built-in, a first-of-its-kind natural language processing technology that allows it to respond to a wide range of voice commands. You can use the ECOVACS app to map your home, establish cleaning schedules, and adjust settings.

The main flaw of the T10 Omni is that it can't switch from mopping and vacuuming in a single run. The T10 Omni comes with two modes that require you to attach mop heads and take them off according to your needs. This is great for the majority of households, but not so for people who have a busy schedule.

However, the Deebot Omni is a fantastic robot vacuum that delivers outstanding results in our pet hair tests. It was able to remove more than 96% debris from our hardwood floors. This is an excellent performance. It also did an excellent job on tile and carpet and tile, getting rid of more than 99percent of dirt and debris.

This robot mop and vacuum comes with an enormous docking station that offers cool water auto-cleaning for its mop pads, auto-emptying into a 3L plastic bag that is easy to replace, and hot-air drying for quick and simple maintenance. It also has a huge water tank that permits frequent washing and drying between mopping runs.

Deebot T10 has a wash tray that is built into its base, which is similar to other mopping robots. It makes use of the wash tray to wash and dry the mop pads when it is using them. It doesn't have a tray that can be removed, which means that dirt, dust and other grime will gradually build up at the bottom.

3. RoboVac X8 Hybrid

While the Anker-owned Eufy is well known in the robot vacuum space but this model is its first venture into the world of mopping. It features improved intelligence, multiple map support, LIDAR scanning and twin-turbine technology that automatically adjusts to the surface you are cleaning. It's a tempting mid-range robot vacuum cleaner, even if it doesn't meet its promise to be a one-stop shop for floor cleaning.

The X8 Hybrid appears to be a standard robotic cleaner from the top. It has a circular shape with sweeper wheels and a raised sensor area. Turn it upside down, however, and you'll find an electric floor brush and a single side sweeper brush which pushes dirt from the edges into the main path of the robot's'mouth'. It's a little smaller than the main brushes of the iRobot Roomba S9 which I found made it easier to reach under couches and chairs.

Its mapping system is reasonably sophisticated, allowing you to set no-mop zones and specific cleaning zones. It has a tendency of bumping into things like its charging station, and isn't the best vacuum mop for pet hair in climbing over carpets. It was effective in picking up pet hair from bare floors. In our tests, it picked up 89.5 percent of cat litter.

While it's controllable via the app, the X8 Hybrid also comes with a series of physical buttons on its base that allow you to choose a cleaning mode, and turn the robot on/off. These buttons can be used to set up no-go areas and look up maps in real-time. It's also a bit chatty, and Vacuum Mop Pet Hair will tell what it's going to do next (start cleaning) or alert you when something isn't right.

4. ILIFE A4s

This high-tech model sucks up pet hair, vacuum Mop pet Hair kibble and other particles with top-quality efficiency and maneuvers flawlessly around furniture legs. It comes with a set of features that is impressive, including two cleaning modes, an automatic docking station and real-time obstacle avoidance technology. It's Wi-Fi enabled and best controlled using the Neato app where cleaning can be scheduled and the overall maintenance requirements monitored. The X2 Omni is a great option for homes with large spaces with a mix of hard and carpet flooring. However, it will need some planning in advance to avoid getting entangled with toys, power cables, or other unexpected obstructions.

In our tests of hardwood floors and kibble it performed well and was able to pick up everything from a single grain of rice up to many pieces of dog food in one go. It had some trouble with rugs but, in general this vacuum mop Pet hair cleaner is perfect for rooms with different flooring types and a mix of pets.

It's a bit expensive but if you're able to manage the price, it's an excellent buy for those who want to be able to leave their homes completely free to perform other tasks or take care of chores. The A4s Pro also offers a useful auto cleaning mode that increases suction power to deal with tough spills and dirt and includes an electric ElectroWall which allows you to set boundaries that the robot isn't permitted to be allowed to enter.

This budget-friendly model from a well-known brand is the cheapest we've tested and provides exceptional value for money. The basic navigation system is based on a basic random pathing algorithm, and it lacks the ability to map rooms. This is why it's less effective as other models on this list. It's still able to navigate under furniture and in the corners. And its mopping mode was very effective in our tests, picking up stray hair and other debris.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ may not be as well-built, but it is better in removing pet hair from all surfaces. It gets rid of floors with less thoroughly and does a good job on carpets with low pile, and it utilizes smart-pathing navigational technology to provide better maneuverability. It also lets you send it to a specific room, and its sophisticated suite of automation features include no-go zones as well as scheduling. It also allows you to pause and resume cleaning, making it perfect for homes that have pets.

Its self cleaning brushroll prevents knots and holds up to 30 days of dirt. It also has an array of side brushes that are angled to dig deep into corners, and its multi-stage filtration system captures dust, dander and allergens to ensure a healthier air.

The iQ robot vacuum is well-built and feels solid. It is compatible with a smartphone application which lets you alter the settings of your vacuum and schedule cleaning times ahead of time. The app also allows you to view the remaining battery life of the iQ and receive notifications via push for any issues it encounters during a cleaning process. You can make use of your voice to control it using an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant device or, if you don't have either devices, you can mark areas with physical boundary marker strips.

The iQ excels in cleaning floors with no dirt and it does an adequate job with carpets that are sagging and low-pile. However it's not able to provide the same level autonomy as our top picks. It's also expensive and the recurring expenses can add up over time.
