The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This best robot vacuum and mop combo can recognize your habits for cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can opt for an overall clean that emphasizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal, or opt for two detailed maps of your home to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those of more expensive models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it does not have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move away when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong like a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's clutter that needs to be removed frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop mop and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best affordable robot vacuum known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of simply following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of convenience features that you don't often see on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor Best Robot Vacuum and Mop maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are nice to have, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The central control panel is a circular menu that lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open the settings menu in which you can tweak how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to help you map out your home. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains.
