The new Bose Sport Earbuds Truly Wireless are slimmer and sleeker design than the QuietComfort buds and a better microphone that can take calls. They also resist sweat, and come with a charging bag.

Active Noise Cancellation

Bose QuietComfort headphones are known for their outstanding noise cancellation. However Bose also produces a wide range of high-quality headphones that do not require or provide this feature. Its products typically occupy a premium price point and use premium materials, but they're also light, sweat-resistant and comfortable enough to last for long listening sessions.

The flagship 700s is a great example. They have an upgraded eight-microphone (six for cancelling sounds, and two for picking a voice) and eleven custom ANC modes. You can hear the world around you or block it completely. They also have a "Conversation Mode" button that allows you to temporarily stop your music in order to make a call or make a quick announcement.

Bose TruSleeve is another excellent feature. It's a cover that can be removed that wraps around your neck and rests on top of your ear to cut down on noise when you're out and about. It's available for all QuietComfort models and can be customized using the app to meet your ears and lifestyle.

Comparing the 700s with our top choice, Sony WH1000XM5, they offer a much better microphone for phone calls. This makes them a great option for those who regularly make calls and need to be heard clearly while traveling.

The headphones can be connected to your mobile device via Bluetooth 4.2, and Bose’s proprietary A2DP protocol. They support aptX Adaptive and aptX HD, making them an ideal option for audiophiles with sources that support these high-quality wireless codecs. Sound Quality

They also come with a cable that has an 3.5mm plug at the other end for wired listening and feature an ANC button on the left earcup. You can configure the ANC to three levels via the app and also turn on the hear-through mode for ambient noises.

The headphones are light and designed to be worn for long periods of time. They feature soft cushions that are comfortable for the ears. Comfort

Bose headphones are comfortable, whether over-ear or on the go. The headphones of the company are typically comfortable and not too tight on the head. They also have a well-balanced sound profile, making them suitable for a diverse range of genres. You can control them with the remote that comes with them or via the companion app. The app lets you alter settings for Bose Aware Mode and ANC.

Controls

The 700s don't have physical controls on the earcups unlike the majority of Bose's headphones. You'll find an electronic touch panel on the right ear cup, which can be used to swipe and tap your finger. Tap twice to play or pause or pause, swipe up to increase the volume, and down to lower it, and forward to skip tracks. A single-tap answers calls, and a double-tap rejects incoming call.

The headset lets you toggle the "aware" mode, which allows some passthrough of your environment. It's a great feature for anyone who has to be aware of their environment while listening to music or making phone calls.

Another feature of the 700s is a motion sensor that shuts off your headphones after a time of inactivity. The app allows you to alter the features of your headphones, including audio settings, noise cancelling levels, and voice prompt languages. You can also download updates for your Bose headsets. This app may require you to provide your personal information but this is to be expected. You can also configure your Bluetooth preferences and utilize the battery reading feature to determine how much power is left in your headphones. Design

The only drawback to the Bose headphones is that their wireless headphones don't block out as much ambient noise as their rivals.
