The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is setup, you can start automated cleaning with a single button. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough maps of your area to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and set up virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but it's a small price to pay if you want to get one of the best eufy robot vacuum robots that vacuum and mop available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or watch TV without being distracted. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently smacks into it before moving forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the bin hidden from view, as well as cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong like a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also create or combine rooms to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's items that need to be cleared out frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and near mop and more. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.

Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and a voice assistant that works offline, allowing you to manage it even when not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of features that you aren't likely to find on robots in this price. It can build precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are nice to have however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners require.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it back to its base station. The control panel is the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for families with children or Near pets.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
