Natura &Co completed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc. in January which makes it the fourth largest pure-play beauty company worldwide. 76% of the company will be owned by its shareholders. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

As the leader of Natura &Co, Joao Paulo Brotto Goncalves Ferreira is in charge of growing the company's international presence. He was previously Vice President-Supply Chain for Unilever Brazil and Latin America. He earned an MBA from the University of Michigan.

He has guided Natura through the change from an old direct selling company to modern, digital one. The company's digitalization led productivity growth and 17 consecutive quarters of growth.

In January, Natura &Co plans to start trading its shares through ADRs on the New York Stock Exchange. This will allow the company to leverage its brand synergies, broaden its product range and reach 200 million people around the world.

The company also has appointed a new senior leadership team to steer the next phase of growth. Roberto Marques will serve as the Group Chief Executive Officer. Angela Cretu, will manage the company's global operations. She will oversee the global operations and stewardship of Natura outside of Latin America.

Before joining Natura, Joao Paulo spent twenty years at Unilever in which he held a variety of roles, including Vice President of Supply Chain. His last job at the company was Vice President of Operations & Logistics.

Ferreira is also a member of the Executive team of the C-Suite Department at the company. He is not someone who is a person who asks questions later but he is the one who spends time first.

Angela Cretu

Angela Cretu, an Avon veteran and the company's top management team, will assume the role Avon's CEO. Cretu has more than 20 years of experience running a top cosmetics brand and is well placed to lead Avon's global operations.

The Avon CEO has long been an advocate for the women around the globe and has embraced the idea of gender equality. She has been involved in a variety of initiatives to effect positive changes for women across countries around the world. Most prominent are those that combat violence against women and promote economic empowerment for women.

In addition to her leadership role at Avon Cretu has also held leadership positions at several other companies. She was the Vice President for South-East Europe and Group Vice President for Central & Eastern Europe and the General Manager for several regions.

In the last year, she has been acknowledged for her contribution to the company's mission, earning her the title of CEO of the Year, as well as winning the Management Today Champions of Change award. INNOCOS has also declared her a Leader of Change in the Women's Empowerment category.

The CEO of Avon is adamant about empowering women with beauty. As of now Avon has contributed US$1.1 billion to the fight against breast cancer. Avon is not only a charity that donates money however, it also allows employees to express their opinions without fear of reprisal.

Avon's new Chief Executive Officer will continue driving its mission of empowering women while also accelerating growth and profitability. She will oversee the operations of Avon outside of Latin America, while taking on the responsibilities of Roberto Marques, who has been appointed as Group CEO of Natura &Co.

Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is a senior executive leader at Avon. Acosta was appointed Senior Vice President and Latin America President in 2011. He was recently appointed Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. Charles Herington, the Company’s Executive Chairman, will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

He worked for many years at Unilever before joining Avon. He has extensive experience building consumer-focused companies in emerging markets. He is also an investor and member of the board of directors at RoC Skincare New York.

As Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer As Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer, he is responsible for the development of the brand experience at Avon. He also oversees the development and implementation of a brand new approach to social selling that is digital.

Fernando Acosta started his career as an employee at Unilever. He has worked in Europe as well as the United Kingdom. Later, he held top-level positions within Unilever's Latin American operations.

From 1999 until 2004 he was the Category President for Latin America at Unilever. He was responsible for overseeing Dove which is among the most well-known brands in the company. He was also involved in the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty that launched new products like Pro Age.

After his time as a senior vice-president for Unilever's Middle Americas business, he assumed a more global position. From 2006 to 2008, he was the Brand President of Dove Global at Unilever. In this time, he was based in New York.

He was previously the Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His duties included directing sales leader and establishing the brand's Latin American strategy. He also helped develop innovative product lines such as Pro Age.

Louise Srivastava

Avon has a long heritage and offers a variety of products. However, Avon leadership team one area of Avon that stands out in recent years is its Health and Wellness division. This segment of direct sales was able to make 33.5% of total sales in the past 12 months thanks to Scott White, CEO. This is a huge deal on a large scale. James Scully

Avon has made a series of major changes to its leadership team. In October, chief financial officer Kimberly Ross left Avon to become the CFO of Baker Hughes Inc. The company is also searching for an interim CFO.

Avon Products announced that James Scully will be its new executive vice chief financial officer and president. He will report directly to Sheri McCoy, Chief Executive Officer, and will be in charge of all aspects of finance and information technology.

Avon has established a brand new headquarters in London and has made a number of moves to streamline the business. The new leadership of the company has taken steps to increase efficiency and reduce balance sheet leverage. It has also increased its cost savings initiatives.

Avon also signed an agreement to form a strategic partnership with Cerberus Capital Management L.P. and will invest $435 million into the company over the course of two years. ICR will provide capital market advisory services to the Company as part of the agreement.

James Scully will oversee the global supply chain for the company and all IT and finance functions. He will also be responsible for the Avon's transformation plan. This is a crucial component of the company's growth strategy.

Jim Scully is also a director at Avon and a board member of J.Jill. The new role he has taken at Avon will allow the company to execute its strategic plan. He brings a wealth of operational expertise to the company.

Additionally, Miguel Fernandez, previously the executive vice president of Herbalife was appointed as the Global President of Avon. He has extensive experience in ecommerce as well as customer management and the execution of growth strategies.

In the meantime the Neiman Marcus Group has been looking for a permanent chief financial officer. Two interim executives have been hired.
