Concealed Weapon Slot

As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This allows players to create the perfect mission for each difficulty.

Gear Slot

The gear slots will rapidly fill up in the early stages of the game, resulting in the common message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the previous items are taken away or space is obtained. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenges. However, as the majority of these challenges are scattered around the world and can be overlooked, it may take some time to get the maximum number of inventory slots available in-game.

A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear, which must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In begins. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades of the same kind) only uses one Gear Slot.

Agency pick-ups

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations let you keep items that do not fit into your weapon or gear slots and then retrieve it later.

These pickups are useful when your task requires you to pass through a frisk or if you have a weapon on you that could raise suspicion. You can only conceal only one item at a pick-up location.

This DLC adds new contracts for security and asset protection to the agency. To begin these missions, just talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Once you've reached the marker for your mission, identify a mob when you arrive.
