The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robot mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuum cleaner vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can select a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It can pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. The mopping system is superior - its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a big deal for those who want to own one of the top robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

For the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the more powerful ones, produce very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without interruption. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or furniture piece, it gently bumps into it before moving on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost entirely on its own, heavy duty Robot vacuum requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the bin hidden from view and also washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right, such as a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first pass. It can also vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend cleaning them off using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium heavy duty robot vacuum mop and vacuum combo with all the features you can wish for. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and heavy duty robot vacuum can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to control it even when you're not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of features that you aren't likely to find on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are nice to have however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving around the home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
