Natura &Co completed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc. in January making it the fourth-largest pure-play beauty firm in the world. Its shareholders will own 76% of the combined company. The deal will be subject to regulatory approvals.

Joao Paulo Goncalves Ferreira, the chief of Natura &Co is responsible for expanding the company's presence in the world. He previously worked for Unilever in Brazil and Latin America, where he was Vice President-Supply Chain. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan.

He has led Natura's transformation from a traditional direct-selling company to a modern , digital one. The company's digitalization led to productivity growth and the implementation of 17 consecutive quarters of growth.

Natura &Co will begin trading its shares on the New York Stock Exchange through ADRs in January. This will allow the group to maximize synergies across its brands and increase its product range and reach 200 million people around the world.

To help drive the next phase of growth the company has appointed a new leadership team. Roberto Marques will serve as the Group Chief Executive Officer and Angela Cretu, will manage the company's global operations. She will oversee the management and operations of Natura outside of Latin America.

Joao Paulo was employed for over twenty years at Unilever before joining Natura. He held various posts, including Vice President Supply Chain. His last job at the company was Vice President of Operations & Logistics.

Ferreira is also a member of the Executive team of the C-Suite Department at the company. He is not a spend first or ask questions later type of person.

Angela Cretu

Angela Cretu, an Avon veteran and its top management team, will assume the role as the company's chief executive officer. Cretu has more than 20 years of experience in leading a top beauty brand and is well-positioned to lead the company's global operations.

Avon CEO Susanne Johnson has been an advocate for women for a long time around the world and has taken up the concept of gender empowerment. She has been involved in many campaigns that promote positive change for women living in developing countries. The most well-known are those that fight violence against women and promote women's economic empowerment.

In addition to her leadership position at Avon, Cretu has also held leadership positions at several other companies. She was the Vice President for South-East Europe and Group Vice President for Central & Eastern Europe and the General Manager for various regions.

She has been awarded the title of CEO of the Year as well as the Management Today Champions of Change award for her contribution to the company's mission over the past year. INNOCOS has also acknowledged her as a leader of Change in the Women’s empowerment category.

Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is a senior executive leader at Avon. Acosta was appointed Senior Avon Leadership Team Vice President and Latin America President in 2011. He was recently appointed Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. Charles Herington, the Company’s Executive Chairman, will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Before joining Avon before joining Avon, he spent a few years working at Unilever. He has extensive experience creating consumer-focused businesses and setting up them in emerging markets. He is also an investor and member of the board at RoC Skincare New York.

As Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer In his role as Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer, he oversees the evolution of the customer experience at Avon. In addition, he is responsible for the development of a new approach to social selling that is digital.

Fernando Acosta began his career at Unilever as an employee trainee. He has worked in the United Kingdom and Europe. Later, he held high-ranking posts in Unilever's Latin American operations.

From 1999 to 2004 he was the Category President for Latin America at Unilever. He was responsible for overseeing Dove which is among the most well-known brands within the company. At the same time He was also a participant in the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty an international initiative that launched innovative products such as Pro Age.

After serving as a senior vice president for Unilever's Middle Americas business, he took on a more international position. He was Brand President of Dove Global at Unilever from 2006 to 2008. At the time, he was based in New York.

He was previously a Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His responsibilities included driving sales and establishing the brand's Latin American strategy. He also helped develop new product lines like Pro Age.

Louise Srivastava

Avon has a storied background and a wide array of products to sort through however one area that has distinguished itself from the rest in recent years is its Health and Wellness division. This subset of direct sales managed to secure 33.5 percent of sales in the last twelve months thanks to Scott White, CEO. On a larger scale this is a huge deal. James Scully will oversee the global supply chain for the company and will also oversee all IT and finance functions. Scully will also be accountable for implementing the company's transformation plan. This is an integral part of the avon sales leader commission structure's growth strategy.

Jim Scully is also a director at Avon and a board member of J.Jill. His new position at Avon will allow the company to execute its strategic plan. He brings strong operational experience to the company.

Miguel Fernandez, a former executive vice president at Herbalife will be named the Global President of Avon. He has vast experience in e-commerce as well as customer management and the execution of growth strategies.

The Neiman Marcus Group is still looking for a permanent chief finance officer. Two interim executives were hired.
