Natura &Co completed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc. in January making it the fourth largest pure-play beauty firm in the world. The shareholders will hold 76% of the combined company. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

In January, Natura &Co plans to begin trading shares of its through ADRs on the New York Stock Exchange. This will enable the company to leverage its brand synergies, expand its product offerings and reach over 200 million customers around the world.

To drive the next stage of growth the company has appointed an entirely new leadership team. Roberto Marques will serve as the Group Chief Executive Officer, and Angela Cretu, will manage the company's global operations. Apart from overseeing the global oversight of the Natura brand as well as overseeing the company's global operations, she will be responsible for the company's development and operations outside of Latin America.

Prior to joining Natura, Joao Paulo spent twenty years at Unilever, where he held a variety of positions including Vice President of Supply Chain. His last position with the company was Vice President of Operations & Logistics.

Ferreira is also part of the Executive Team of the C-Suite Department. He isn't a spend first or ask questions later type of person.

Angela Cretu

Taking on the helm at Avon is Angela Cretu, a veteran of Avon and its leadership team. With more than 20 years of experience as the head of a leading beauty brand, Cretu is poised to lead Avon's global operations as well as innovating.

The Avon CEO has been a defender of the women of the world and has embraced the concept of gender equality. She has been involved in numerous campaigns to encourage positive changes for women in developing countries. The most notable are those that combat the violence against women and encourage women's economic empowerment.

In addition to her leadership role at Avon Cretu has also held leadership positions at several other companies. She was Vice President for South-East Europe and Group Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe and the General Manager for various regions.

Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is among the most senior executives at Avon. He joined Avon in 2011 as Senior Vice President and President Latin America and was recently named Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. Charles Herington, the Company’s Executive Chairman, will be reporting directly to the position.

Before joining Avon He spent a few years working at Unilever. He has extensive experience creating consumer-focused businesses and setting up these in emerging markets. He is also an investor and a member of the board of directors at RoC Skincare New York.

He is the Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer at Avon. He also oversees the development and implementation of the new social selling strategy that is digital.

Fernando Acosta began his career at Unilever as an employee trainee. He has worked in the United Kingdom and Europe. In the past, he held high-ranking posts in Unilever's Latin American operations.

From 1999 until 2004 he was the Category President for Latin America at Unilever. He was responsible for overseeing Dove, one of the most well-known brands within the company. He also was involved in the Dove Campaign for avon Leader Real Beauty, which launched innovative products such as Pro Age.

Following his time as senior vice president of Unilever's Middle Americas division, he was promoted to an international position. From 2006 to 2008, he was the Brand President of Dove Global at Unilever. During this time, he was based in New York.

He was previously the Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His responsibilities included driving sales and developing the brand's Latin American strategy. He also supported the development of innovative product lines such as Pro Age.

Louise Srivastava

Meanwhile, the Neiman Marcus Group has been searching for a permanent chief financial officer. Two interim executives have been appointed.
