The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of a button. You can select a general clean that focuses on the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it to be just marginally superior best robot vacuum and Mop to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so that it is aware of areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of more expensive models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

In terms of the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it comes into contact with a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and moves forward.

What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the hidden bin and washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right like the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot vacuum cleaner with mop mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can want. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, so you can control it even when you're away from home. It also has more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of simply following a predetermined route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its mop pads rotating to clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. But while these functions are great, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category and could mean it's a little more expensive than some homeowners require.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish highlighted by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the house. The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
