Despite our best-in-test performance, the mopping function did not shine as brightly as we hoped. However, it was less effective on a tiled floor with water accumulation or old stained, stuck-on stains. It took a bit longer than expected to finish the job. The mop pads detach from the unit to be washed and dried with warm air inside the base station after every cleaning, an option that keeps them in good condition and helps prevent mold growth. However, the mop pads may be difficult to reattach in place and we observed them falling out of the mop holders a few times during our tests.
