It's designed in a way that it can be refilled and drained without getting wet or touching the pad.

The T10's intelligent mapping technology is one of the features that sets it apart from other robot vacuums. It produces a detailed, three-dimensional map showing the layout of your home. The ECOVACS App is easy to use, and has many settings that can be changed. The only issue is the absence of the remote control. This could be a niggle for some.

I tried the ION XL using our standard debris test in a family space and kitchen with hardwood floors and area rug. It did an excellent job vacuuming and clearing pet hair, debris, and even some of the most stubborn carpet crumbs. It also did a great job in getting around my barstools and didn't get in the way of them as the iRobot j7+ did in this test. The only issue with the ION XL is that it does not detect cords, shoes or toys in its path. You will need to clean your home prior to when you run this robotic vacuum to avoid them.

The ION XL is not as efficient as the iRobot J7+, but it is an excellent alternative if you don't want to spend more than $500 on cleaning robots. It is better than the less expensive RoboVac 11S in most ways, including being simpler to maintain and incurring lower recurring expenses. It's also superior in vacuuming floors that are not clean and picking up pet fur, but not as effective on carpets with a low or carpets with higher pile.

It's not as well-built, but it's still a solid option. The ION XL has a large bin capacity, it is operated by an app or voice command, and it is simple to keep up with routine maintenance. It's also a reasonable price.
