The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuum deals vacuums robot. The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is in place it can begin automated cleaning with a single button click. You can select a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a big deal when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it takes just two or vacuum robot three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping settings that it has, which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right, such as a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of features that you don't often see on robots at this price range. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring, and it's one of the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are useful but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners need.

Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
