The most notable feature of the j7 is its robotic arm which keeps the mop pad locked away when it's not in use, and then lowers it to clean carpets or hard floors. In my testing it, the Combo J7+ did a great job in avoiding spraying water on the rug. The robot backed off when it came across the rug, and didn't attempt to cross it, even although I moved the rug several times.

The arm comes with a 240mL tank, that is easily removed and filled. This makes it easier to use than the mop pads on many other 2-in-1 robotic arm. It utilizes iRobot PrevisionVision obstacle-avoidance technology which is more advanced than other systems of this type.

iRobot Combo i5

iRobot is able to recognize household clutter, such as shoes, bags, cords and toys. It will then automatically stop and return to its base to dock and recharge and complete the cleaning task at a later time. It is also compatible with voice commands such as Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri and Google Assistant, understanding around 600 voice commands - more than any other 2-in-1 best robot mop and vacuum combo.

iRobot Combo j5

This robot vacuum and mop from iRobot is a good option for homes with carpets and hard floors. It utilizes smart mapping and avoids obstacles to clean efficiently. With the i3 application, you can make schedules to clean at a specific time to suit your needs. You can also control your robot using your voice assistant to start or stop cleaning. It also tracks your home's unique floor layout to give you a customized schedule and cleaning routines. It utilizes advanced mapping sensors to navigate carpet and hardwood floors, and learns how you clean to optimize performance.

iRobot Combo i2

The Combo i2 robot vacuum and mop is the latest product from iRobot. It combines iRobot's smart floor cleaning technology to make it a perfect option for homes with hard floors and carpets or rugs.
