The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. This robot can recognize your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the click of one button. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models, and it can even remove pet hair without difficulty. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and Best robot Vacuum allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. The mopping system is even better because its spinning pads clean your floors better than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's tank for best robot vacuum dust is larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones produce little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the hidden bin and also cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something needs attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready to be reused. It also features a new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top robot vacuum cleaner-quality model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great however they can push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The central control panel includes a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can tweak how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops are also quite efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
