1. iRobot s8

This smart robot vacuum and mop combo is a fantastic choice for many homes. It features a superb navigation system that incorporates GPS and laser sensors. It also has numerous features and control options that can be accessed through the app. It also comes with a useful feature that allows you to add cleaning zones to certain areas that require extra attention, as well as Keep Out zones where you do not want it to be. While the Anker-owned Eufy has earned an impact in budget robot vacuums, it hasn't previously offered an all-in-one model that could also mop. This is changing with the X8 Hybrid, which has an impressive set of modern features and can compete well against much more expensive models.

Laser navigation is the main selling point of this machine. The previous Eufy devices have built up an outline of your home utilizing infrared sensors and bumping into things, but the X8's laser mapping technology is far more precise. It also takes a lot less time to construct a comprehensive picture of your space and stores multiple maps, which is great for multi-floor homes.

The controls are simpler than those of the competition's. There is a cleaning button on the top and you can choose to start it by using the app or by voice commands with Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also schedule daily or weekly cleanings, designate no-go zones, and look up the history of cleaning. In a smart dark gray plastics, Ion feels sturdy and is attractive in your home. Its rear dust bin is easy to empty and removing the filter is equally easy.

5. Eufy 11S

Its self-navigating capabilities and environmental mapping are something to behold. It also comes with more advanced automation features than most competitors, including the ability to set virtual boundary lines using its mobile app. Although the app is a little sluggish and the 980 may spin out a bit while crossing cables, it's still a very capable robot vacuum.

We love the 980 because it uses its iAdapt2.0 navigation sensors and visual simultaneity localisation and mapping (or vSLAM) to store the floor plan of your home. It will then use this information to design a consistent and efficient cleaning path for every cycle. The result is cleaner floors and a more efficient vacuum than most high-end robots.

Other features of the 980 include dual multi-surface brushes that capture dirt from floors and carpets, as well as a spinning brush to sweep debris into the robotic vacuum’s bin. The sensor for floor tracking assists it in maneuvering between furniture, along edges and up steps. Cliff Detect prevents the Roomba from falling.
