The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. This robot vacuum for dog hair can learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the click of a button. You can select a general clean which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other wirecutter robot vacuum vacuums. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We like the statement but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and also to clean your entire home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better - its spinning pads clean your floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered settings, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes across a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and then moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right, such as a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your abode. That's a handy feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's some clutter that needs to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first go. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop robot vacuum and vacuum that has all the features you could wish for. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop is easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade shark robot vacuum self empty.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots in this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect different flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features but they also make the L10s more of a premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel is a circular menu that lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The mops also work well, removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor, or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
