Easy to install

After removing the old cover, use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the four major attachment clips located on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked with red on the image below. Note the yellow locating tabs that must also be deactivated.

Replace the battery with a CR2032 coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is aligned to the opening of the fob and that the -" negative side is facing towards the buttons made of rubber.

Replace the cover of the passenger's side mirror by aligning the locating tabs. Once you've done this take the fob for the driver's side back in your car and test it. Press the push button at the front of the key. If everything is working properly the car should turn on the parking lights and your doors will automatically lock.
