Repair Patches

If you've a hole or two in your gears, consider adding adhesive patches to your rep kit. This water-tight adhesive will bond to metals and fabrics to create an unbreakable fix. This glue is ideal for repairing drysuits, and is also utilized in the field. Allow the sealant to cure for Rep kit up to 12 hours prior to applying the repaired gear.

The most essential field fabric repair kit for nylon tents impregnated with silicone packs, rainwear, and more. Includes one Clean Tape repair patch as well as sil-nylon swatch. Also included is a 1/4 ounce of Gore-Tex Repair Adhesive and Sealant Brush and Sealant tube. If you're out on the trail and don't have the time for a full vulcanising repair the patches that are self-adhesive will get you back in the saddle in no time. Apply the self-adhesive patch and apply it by rolling it around.

Utilize the tube-scuffer to roughen the surface. This will assist the glue stick. Then spread a thin layer of glue on the patch, covering an area at least as big as the patch. Allow the glue to get tacky and then press the patch down with a firm pressure and secure it.
