The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of one button. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice or go for two thorough maps of your space to ensure that your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an improved filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We like the statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as stairs and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop other barriers and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpets and hard floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even when you're at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead simply following a predetermined path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It has a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of convenience features you don't often see on robots in this price range. It can make precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are great but they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving around the home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum.
