The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the push of one button. You can select the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We like the claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and best robot vacuum and Mop combo its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a big deal if you want to own one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it up takes only two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it before moving along.

What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the bin hidden from view, as well as washes and dry the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right, such as a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create or merge rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or if there's a lot of clutter that must be cleaned out regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them clean and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best robot vacuum cleaner for pet hair known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can use it even if you're not home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of convenience features that you don't often see on robots of this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are great, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category which could make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel includes the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stains. The mops also work well and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
