Natura &Co completed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc. in January making it the fourth largest pure-play beauty company worldwide. 76% of the combined company will be owned by its shareholders. The deal will be subject to regulatory approvals.

In January, Natura &Co plans to begin trading its shares via ADRs on the New York Stock Exchange. This will allow the company to leverage its brand synergies, increase its product range and reach over 200 million consumers around the globe.

The company also has appointed a new senior leadership team to drive the next phase of growth. Roberto Marques will be the Group Chief Executive Officer and Angela Cretu will lead the company's global business. In addition to overseeing the global management of the Natura brand Avon Leadership Team as well as overseeing the company's global operations, she will be responsible for the company's development and operations outside of Latin America.

Before joining Natura, Joao Paulo spent twenty years at Unilever and held a variety of roles including Vice President of Supply Chain. His last position with the company was Vice President of Operations and Logistics.

Angela Cretu

As the new head of Avon is Angela Cretu, a veteran of the company and its management team. With more than 20 years of experience at the helm of a renowned beauty brand, Cretu is poised to lead avon sales leader commission structure's global operations and development.

Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is a senior executive leader at Avon. Acosta was appointed Senior Vice President and Latin America President in 2011. He was recently named Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. This position is directly under the supervision of Charles Herington, the Company's Executive Chairman.

Before joining Avon prior to joining Avon, he worked for several years working at Unilever. He has extensive experience in the development of consumer-oriented businesses in emerging markets. In addition to his work at Avon, he is an board member and investor at RoC Skincare in New York.
