The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to map your home.

It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an improved filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay for if you want one of the best automatic vacuum and mop combo robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles even when you've got the most dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and move on whenever it comes across one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This is an excellent feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's clutter that needs to be removed frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can wish for. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, Best lidar vacuum known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and best vacuum that mops its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for best robot vacuum and Mop for pets weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are great, but they also make the L10s more of a premium category. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the house. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that is a switch for on and off. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu at the center of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This creates a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop with ease and avoid getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
