The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to locate your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can opt for an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or two thorough maps of your area to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an improved filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it does not have an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay if want one of the best robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, produce very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden in the background, as well as cleans and Automatic Vacuum And Mop drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something is in need of attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you could want. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as a voice assistant that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're away from home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features that you don't often see on robots in this price. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are useful however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category, which might make it a little more expensive than some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it back to its base station. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
