The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard floors. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to map out your home.

It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price tag.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. And its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a major issue if you want to own one of the Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner And Mop robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. If it encounters a wall or furniture piece it gently smacks into it and moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something needs attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and combine rooms to modify how the Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's some clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even remove wet spills, though I recommend cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can want. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great however they can push the L10s into the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it to its base station. The control panel has an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
