The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is setup it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two detailed maps of your area to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do, and it can even pick up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. We think this is a nice claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot vacuum for pet hair can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub floors better than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a problem for those who want to own one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors and filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece it gently smacks into it before moving along.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the bin hidden in the background, as well as washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong like low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor best robot vacuum system that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any bissell robot vacuum and mop we've tested, thanks to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor best robot vacuum that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra br151 robot vacuum mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are useful, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner require.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The central control panel has a circular menu that lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to help you map out your home. This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
