The best robot vacuum for carpet and hardwood Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do to map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best vacuum mop combo for laminate floors-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up it can begin automated cleaning with a single button press. You can select a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal or go for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some other models and can remove pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on more expensive models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it does not have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay if want one of the best robots available. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create low noise, which means you can work or watch TV without being distracted. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and then moves along.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong like a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best vacuum mop combo known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even if you are not at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does an excellent job. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features however they can place the L10s in the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that serves as the on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The control panel is an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to help you map out your home. The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors, and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well, xilubbs.xclub.tw removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
