The best robot vacuum with mapping and self empty Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to identify your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features such as a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button. You can select the general clean option which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do, and it can even pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and establish virtual boundaries, so it is aware of areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better because its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. If it comes across the wall or a piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and moves along.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the hidden bin, as well as cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's some clutter that needs to be cleaned out regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you could wish for. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, best robot vacuum with mapping And self empty as well as a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them germ-free and ready for use again. The Omni Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hardwood floor test and taking out all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
