The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to identify your home.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is set up, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button. You can choose an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It can remove pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will get better with future models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

The app will only inform you when something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create or merge rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best i robot vacuum known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and Top Rated Robot Vacuum more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its rotating mop pads that scrub away tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great however they can place the L10s in the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
